Instead of looking for someone else's opinion of THE BEST school, maybe you should do some research of the top rated schools in America and see which one would suit you best. Schools don't come in 'one size fits all' every school has different programs and classes to offer, it depends on what you're looking for. There is no one best private school in the US. It really depends on which school is the right fit for you. There are hundreds of truly great private schools in the US. Look for a school that is a good match for you. Consider your academic ability, grades, test scores, religious affiliation, location, extra-curriculars, talents, etc. How much are your parents willing to pay? Good private schools in big cities can range from $10,000 to $30,000 annually. They know you and your strengths and weaknesses and which schools might be the best match. In the L.A. area, schools like Flintridge Prep and Harvard-Westlake are considered two of the very best.
