If you are talking about school under the college level-Boarding schools in America are private. Meaning they have a tuition and not funded by the state. They can be quite costly. If you can pay the tuition price, most schools will let you in unless there has been a discipline problem in the past. Most schools, under college level, in America do not provide housing for their students.

If certain numbers, like acceptance rates, are important to you, you should verify the numbers with the schools that interest you. Sometimes these websites are not completely up to date.
