India~ Lots of private schools. Most of the kids that go to school attend private schools, and they have to wear uniforms. Education is valued by all Indians even if they themselves are not educated themselves. And the teachers put a lot more pressure on the students. America~ More public schools. Schools are more sanitary. Teachers praise the students for their good work, and reward them. The syllabus is way easier than India's. Hope i helped

From which community school in the USA can I study one of the Cisco programs.?
Someone should direct me how I can gain admission in any cisco academy school in the USA. I want to get CCNA certified.

Honestly to obtain the CCNA certification i wouldnt bother enrolling in a school. Just get the Cisco self-study CCNA books and the CCNA network simulator and study and im sure you'll pass it. For some of the more advanced Cisco certifications you might want to think about some training courses.

Which Universities/ Pharmacy Schools in USA will not charge me (as a Canadian citizen) any international fees?
i wanted to go to pharmcy school and its hard to get in here (U of Toronto) so i was considering to apply in some universities in States...i didn't wanna pay international fees coz its just too much. So I'll only apply to states that don't need Canadians (esp. from Ontario) to pay international fees.

about USA high school math curricula - help please
about USA high school math curricula - help please?
hi , i am going to send my son to USA for his high school . i find that grade 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 maths curricula is consolidated . can anyone give me an approximate idea that how the curricula is usually divided by teachers ? i know different states have different syllabi but if you know any website or have any information of the approximate division of the syllabi it will be of great help . basically i am asking for grade 9 ,10 which toipics will my son be asked to take on ? will he have to do calculus in grade 10 ?

its based on how smart your son is but usually in 9th grade you take algebra then in 10th grade it is geometry 11th grade algebra 2 and 12th grade would be pre calculus or if a year ahead calculus.

This is how it went for me, and as far as I know it's a pretty typical curricula. 9th- Algebra 10th- Geometry 11th- Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry 12th- Calculus I'm pretty sure that's how it went.

grade 9: algebra I grade 10: geometry grade 11: algebra II grade 12: pre-calculas (optional, but don't have to take math for this year)

Pre Algebra 9th grade Algebra I 10th grade Geometry 11th grade Algebra II 12th grade On these three you can double up... at my school they werent required we only had to h ave 4 maths to graduate, but I took Pre-Cal and Calculus.. I love math... Pre Calculus Calculus Trigonometry Good Luck!

Most states have very similar standards. 3 or 4 math credits in High School (grades 9 - 12) to graduate. They go from Elemantary Algebra, Goemetry, Algebra, Algebra 2, Trigenomitry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Then of course you have you AP (Advanced) in each of them. most students can complete these grades with never seeing calc or trig. if your son has an apptitude for mathmatics then he could easily advance to higher levels of math in his high school term.

High school curriculum varies tremendously. No way to answer this. I've seen public schools that only offered up to algebra 2. No teacher was even qualified to teach beyond that. They sent you to a community college if you needed to go beyond that level.

Canadians going to the USA for school
Canadians going to the USA for school?
Alright so since I'm Canadian do I still need an F1 visa? or no? like what visa's or what do i need in general to go to school in the USA(Florida)

probably be easiest to just fly to Mexico and swim across the Rio Grande, change your name to something sort of common too people (________) like you that respect law are the first ones to be removed for visa violations meanwhile if you come here illegally from Mexico the only way you can be deported is if you commit a violent crime, just a suggestion if you want to avoid the whole legality of being here issue and saving a lot of time and money

A visa is not required but you need a form I-20 Certificate of Eligibility from the school. For entry as a student you need to have that form and evidence that you can attend school full time without employment in the US.

If you are going with your parents and one of them has a TN visa and you get a TD, then you can go to US high school for free. But you still need the F-1 for college. For college you need to be accepted by a US school and they will get the F-1 for you. Also be aware that it costs about $30,000 a year to go to college in the USA. And you cannot work in the US to try to earn any of it. I find the low cost, like only $10,000 is for in state students. You do not get it that cheap as an international student. However you can get Canadian student loans for much of the cost in the US and that counts as income for the F-1.
